Nina Freudenberger Rugs

Nina Freudenberger is a New York-based interior designer known for her sensibility: collected, layered, globally influenced — and never overdone. Her rug collection for Lulu and Georgia brings that same editorial eye to the floor. Geometric patterns drawn from kilim and dhurrie traditions, natural fiber options in seagrass and jute, and colorways that read as saturated without being loud. Rugs designed by someone who thinks hard about what a floor covering has to do in a real room.

What rugs does Nina Freudenberger design for Lulu and Georgia?

The Nina Freudenberger rug collection includes flat-weave wool and cotton styles in geometric and kilim-influenced patterns, natural fiber rugs in seagrass and jute, and select pile rugs with pattern. Colorways tend toward warm terracotta, deep navy, cream, and olive tones — a palette drawn from global textile traditions and calibrated for the contemporary American interior. Many styles are available in multiple sizes from 2×3 accent to 9×12 area rug.

What interior styles do Nina Freudenberger rugs work with?

The collection is designed for interiors that are layered and reference-rich without being fussy — spaces that mix vintage and contemporary, or that draw from multiple global design traditions. The geometric patterns work with both bohemian and more tailored interiors; the natural fiber options are broadly versatile. For a more minimalist room, the solid-ish or textural pieces from the collection anchor the space without introducing pattern competition.

Are Nina Freudenberger rugs available in custom sizes?

The collection is available in a range of standard sizes; custom sizing is not offered on this collaboration. Standard sizes typically span 2×3, 3×5, 5×8, 8×10, and 9×12, with runner options available in select styles. Size availability varies by pattern — check individual product pages for the full size range. Area rugs can be layered over natural fiber or jute rugs for a collected, designer look without needing a custom cut.
