What spring rugs does Lulu and Georgia carry?

Lulu and Georgia's Spring Rugs collection includes hand-knotted wool rugs in floral and light botanical patterns (Theda from $498, Hirsh from $568), handwoven wool-blend and jute-blend options in spring-fresh naturals (Estie from $114, Hagan from $89), and the Amir Hand-Knotted Wool Moroccan Shag Rug (from $324) for a softer, plush texture suited to the transitional season. The collection is refreshed seasonally with new arrivals.

What makes a rug feel right for spring?

Spring rugs tend to favor lighter palettes, more open weave structures, and botanical or floral motifs that echo the season's visual mood. Flatweave and low-pile constructions—like the Hagan Handwoven Jute-Blend (from $89)—bring a lighter feel underfoot than thick wool pile. Floral hand-knotted rugs like the Theda and Hirsh add a seasonal design note that reads especially well in rooms with natural light. A spring rug swap is one of the most impactful, lowest-effort room refreshes available.

How do I swap out a rug for spring?

Rolling and storing your current rug and replacing it with a lighter-weight, spring-palette alternative takes under an hour for most rooms. Use a rug storage bag or acid-free roll to protect the stored rug from moths, dust, and moisture. When placing the new spring rug, check the sizing against your existing furniture arrangement and use a rug pad appropriate for the new rug's construction. The Hagan Handwoven Jute-Blend Rug (from $89) is a particularly practical spring swap—lightweight, durable, and easy to clean.
